I spend far too much time--generally, 5 hours a week, in two blocks, on interstate highways. And sometimes it gets difficult.

I composed this last night, while trying to fall asleep. I wrote it down (and did a little editing) this morning.
The pond froze last night.
Today, the setting sun
Turned the ice to gold.

We work up early this morning, with the sun just beginning to rise. And I do seem to be attracted to sunrises when writing haiku...so, here's the first:
The sun has risen
